This camp offers incredible wildlife and comfortable style for a classic South African safari experience

Chitwa Suites, the main part of the camp, is comprised of six modern individual suites. Guests can watch a variety of wildlife at the nearby waterhole from the comfort of their suite’s private deck or plunge pool. Each room includes indoor and outdoor showers, a separate bathtub, a fireplace, and a coffee station. There is an extra bed available to accommodate children under twelve. Chitwa Chitwa has a comfortable yet contemporary style that incorporates elements of the surrounding wilderness.

In addition to the standard suites, the lodge includes Chitwa House, an exclusive two-bedroom home ideal for family groups. Chitwa House offers a particularly private experience, complete with an exclusive butler, private guide and vehicle, and private chef at guests’ disposal. A spacious common living and dining area offers complete comfort away from the shared areas in the rest of the camp. Overlooking the lake is a private swimming pool and comfortably furnished deck. The smaller Charlsy Suite is another good option for families and includes many of the same amenities.

Chitwa Chitwa is located on the Sabi Sands Private Reserve in the Greater Kruger Area of South Africa. Its position on the shores of one of the reserve’s largest lakes offers beautiful views of the water and the landscape, as well as unique access to the reserve’s diverse wildlife. The reserve is home to many endangered African species, including wild dog and honey badger. Big five sightings are common on game drives in the area due to the unique preservation of the land.

An inclusive lodge, Chitwa Chitwa offers guests comfortable common areas, a luxurious rim-flow swimming pool, a cozy library, and a wine cellar. Visitors relaxing on site won’t even have to miss out on the wildlife as animals gather around the water to drink.
