One&Only Hotel Cape Town

PLAN MY TRIP

Located on the Victoria and Albert waterfront, the One&Only Cape Town Hotel is a premiere urban chic resort.

Located within the seven-story, crescent-shaped Marina Rise is a variety of rooms from Marina Harbour rooms, Marina Table Mountain rooms, Premiere Marina Table Mountain rooms, one-bedroom Marina Suites, one-bedroom Marina Grand Suites, and two-bedroom Family Suites and Premiere Family Suites. Surrounded by waterways on the lush island, the island superior King or Queen rooms, one-bedroom suites, and two-bedroom suites ring the hotel’s infinity pool. All rooms come with king-size or two queen-size beds, an en suite bathroom with egg-shaped bath, rain shower, and dual marble vanities. The Table Mountain Suite has an expansive terrace and a twelve-seat dining table. The Presidential suite features a gorgeous living space, private kitchen, and two bedrooms.

The hotel is ideally located next to the marina overlooking Cape Town’s most notable and visited attraction, the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront. Still a working dock, visitors can watch ships come and go. The V & A, as it is locally known, also boasts hundreds of shops and is a departing point for ferries to Hout Bay, Simon’s Town, the Cape Fur Seal colony, and Robben Island, location of the Nelson Mandela Gateway. Other nearby attractions include Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Artscape Theatre Centre, Cape Winelands, and Cape Town Stadium, a 2010 FIFA World Cup venue.

With a Mediterranean climate, rugged mountains, considerable coastline, inland valleys, coastal plains, and semi-desert fringes Cape Town is comparable to southern California. The outdoor adventurist can enjoy a range of activities from lounging on one of the many world-class beaches, to exploring Table Mountain where the eighty-seven-year-old cableway provides panoramic views of the Mother City. Atop the summit, Table Mountain National Park has many exciting biking and hiking trails and visitors can even abseil off the sides of tandem paraglide down to the bottom. Dolphin and whale watching are also popular tourist attractions as well as cage diving with great white sharks for the more daring.

As the first luxury hotel to open in Cape Town in nearly a decade, the resort is designed to celebrate the city’s wine, art, design, and eclectic spirit. The celebrated Reuben Riffel’s urban restaurant features a menu that is a celebration of the Cape’s rich culinary heritage. The hotel has world-class master chef Nobuyuki ‘Nobu’ Matsuhisa’s first restaurant in Africa. His innovative blend of classically styled Japanese cuisine incorporates South African seafood and indigenous spices. Other restaurants include the Vista Bar and Lounge and the Italian-inspired Isola. NEO Boutique debuts a desirable collection of designer fashions. While the One&Only Spa has wide range of relaxing treatments available. There is also a state-of-the-art fitness center and an infinity pool.
