The camp’s location within the private Selinda Reserve in Northern Botswana is a prime elephant habitat. In fact at the peak of the dry season in late September, the Selinda Reserve has been known to have over 9000 elephants concentrated along the river. This region is also home to giraffe, antelope, buffalo, leopard, wild dog, and lion. There is also a large and diverse bird population in this area.
Guests will enjoy many opportunities to view wildlife, with game drives, walking and canoeing safaris. The camp will be an excellent choice for families or friends who wish to book the whole camp for extended stays. Adventure and exploration are the focus at Okavango Explorers Camp.
