Located in the private Selinda Reserve, Okavango Explorers Camp is a brand-new safari camp nestled in a handpicked location that features some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in northern Botswana.

Accommodations at Okavango Explorers Camp are composed of six tented rooms, which take a maximum of twelve guests. Each sand-colored canvas tent includes an outdoor sitting area, mosquito nets, fans, electric lighting and charging facilities, and en-suite bathrooms.

Okavango Explorers Camp recreates a safari experience reminiscent of Africa in the 1920s, when so much of the continent was still mysterious to the outside world. The camp exudes a spirit of adventure, and guests will be transported to a time of discovery and exploration.

Okavango Explorers Camp is located within the private Selinda Reserve in Northern Botswana. This area is at the intersection of the water system of the Okavango Delta and the famous Selinda Spillway and is renowned for its concentrations of predators and elephants. Guests regularly see lion, leopard, and wild dog, and at the peak of the dry season in late September, the permanent water in the river systems has been known to draw as many as 9,000 elephants into the reserve. The area is also home to excellent populations of buffalo, giraffe, and other plains game, and the diverse terrain also hosts a spectacular variety of birdlife.

Guests at Okavango Explorers Camp will enjoy many activities. Of course the featured daily activity is game drives, but walking safaris and canoeing are also possible (depending on water levels).
