Kiri Camp

PLAN MY TRIP

In one of the most biodiverse ecosystems on Earth, this camp is perfectly positioned to give guests access to unparalleled wildlife

A perfect blend of wilderness and luxury, Kiri Camp immerses guests in the natural atmosphere of the Okavango Delta. Luxurious private tents in various customizable formats prioritize eco-friendly comfort. Each of the ten tented suites (two of which are two-bedroom family suites) has an en suite bathroom, which includes an indoor shower, outdoor shower, and double vanity. A private veranda allows guests to view the beautiful environment in stylish comfort. The design of each tent incorporates natural fabrics and textiles with wood tones and allows the expansive landscape to be the star of the show.

The camp’s situation along the Kiri channel puts it in an optimum position for a variety of wildlife and activities. Guests can enjoy beautiful views of the floodplains from the camp’s raised wooden decks. Because of its location on a private concession, the more remote areas of the delta are open to exploration through off-roading and night game drives. In high flood season, much of the delta is accessible by motorboat.

Camp activities, just like wildlife, depend on the water surrounding the camp. High water levels are perfect for boat safaris and calming mokoro rides along the river. If water levels are not ideal for boating activities, game drives, walking safaris, and birding safaris are great land-based ways to explore the terrain and view wildlife. The camp can arrange visits to nearby villages for guests looking to learn about the local culture and communities.

Kiri Camp prioritizes working in the surrounding community to support schools and other charity efforts. Most of the camp’s private guides and other staff come out of the local villages. They are committed to protecting and preserving the natural beauty of Botswana, whether it be through supporting anti-poaching patrols or educational programs. All of these efforts reach for the ultimate goal of sustainable coexistence between the community and the environment.
