Elela

PLAN MY TRIP

Meaning “to flow” in Setswana, Elela is an intimate safari experience set within 420,000 acres of pristine wilderness in the central-western Okavango Delta, where seasonal waterways weave between lagoons, grasslands and islands.

Rather than a traditional lodge, Elela comprises just eight entirely private camps, ranging from one to four bedrooms. Each is elevated above the landscape and designed to immerse guests in the Delta, with expansive views, generous indoor-outdoor living spaces and a private pool.

Privacy and freedom define the experience. Every camp has its own dedicated safari vehicle, guide, tracker and Camp Manager, allowing days to unfold entirely at your own pace, without fixed schedules. Explore by vehicle or on foot, glide through seasonal waterways by mokoro or boat, take a helicopter flight over the Delta, fish, birdwatch, or simply spend an afternoon beside your pool.

A central hub offers additional dining and gathering spaces, fitness facilities, a Boutique & Gallery and Conservation Lounge, while wellness experiences, wine tastings and evenings beneath the stars invite a slower pace.

Open year-round and welcoming children of all ages, Elela offers an exceptionally private way to experience the ever-changing wilderness of the Okavango Delta.
