Saseka Tented Camp

PLAN MY TRIP

Adults and children alike will find relaxation and adventure at this eccentric camp in South Africa's Kruger Area

Designed with an eccentric blend of traditional safari style and contemporary elegance, Saseka cultivates a comfortable but unique atmosphere. This camp consists of nine tented suites, each with capacity for two guests. Each luxury tent is furnished with glass doors to a private deck, outdoor shower, and private plunge pool with riverbed view. Customized printed canvas ceilings and elegant lighting add to the unique but luxurious style of each tent. Modern amenities in each room include a coffee maker, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and safe.

Little Saseka, an exclusive area within Saseka Tented Camp, is perfect for family groups. It accommodates two adults and two children, with additional adjacent accommodation if necessary. The exclusive space comes with a spacious private living and dining area and the services of a personal chef and butler. A deck, large pool, and firepit area outside the tent provide a relaxing outdoor space to unwind as a family. Babysitting services are available to keep children entertained while adults go on separate adventures.

Saseka Tented Camp is on the Thornybush Private Reserve that borders South Africa’s Kruger National Park. It is on the banks of the seasonal Monwana River, offering views of the rocky riverbed from every room. Spa services are available onsite for those looking to relax under the trees, while adventurous types can explore the wilderness on game drives. Hot air balloon rides and helicopter flights in the area showcase South Africa’s beautiful terrain from the air. Bird watching and walking safaris are low-impact experiences that still expose visitors to the landscape and wildlife.

Saseka’s parent company, Thornybush, is committed to conservation and sustainability. Thornybush draws people together in the name of sustainable growth and positive impact. Training guides and other safari professionals, as well as working on education initiatives, Thornybush works in the communities around them to positively influence livelihoods and the environment.
