Located in the thorn-veld bush of Namibia, the private and luxurious Villa Mushara is a luxury safari camp close to the game-rich Etosha National Park.
An exclusive property, Villa Mushara is an intimate camp consisting of two luxury villas. Each villa has a unique feel and is decorated in a safari-luxe style incorporating animal prints alongside silver candelabras and elegant four-poster beds. The spacious air-conditioned villas contain 450 square feet of living area including a small private library and a mini-bar with a wide selection of beverages. The glamorous en-suite bathrooms are finished with brass fittings, stone basins, and standalone baths. And to top it off, each villa has its own staff, guide, and driver.
The word “Mushara” is taken from the indigenous Herero language and refers to the Purple Pod Terminalia tree which grows in the region. The camp is located only four miles from the Von Lindequist gate on the eastern boundary of Etosha National Park. Known for its vast size and easy accessibility, Etosha National Park boasts 114 mammal species, 110 reptile species, 16 amphibian species, 340 bird species, and even one species of fish. Impressive numbers of plains game such as zebra, kudu, oryx, wildebeest, giraffe, springbok, impala and eland roam the grasslands as do large herds of elephants. Lions and jackals follow these large numbers of prey always on the lookout for a meal.
