The uppermost Captain’s Cove Suite offering spectacular 360-degree views as well as a comfortable queen bed, an elevated bath, and a spacious private sundeck. A warm, contemporary style imbues each suite with modern comfort, in addition to amenities such as a seating and lounge area, one-of-a-kind fireplace, 24-hour room service, queen-sized bed, private safe, gowns, slippers, and much more. Each suite includes an en suite bathroom featuring double sinks and two showers. As an added luxury, each suite has its own deck area to enjoy amazing views of the lagoon even blankets to cozy under in the wake of cool Atlantic breezes.
The lodge is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Walvis Bay Lagoon on the other. Ever-changing vistas reveal ships coming and going, breaking waves, desert dunes, a vibrant seal population, and amazing sunset lightshows. Guests can watch the prolific birdlife featuring flocks of pelicans, Damara-terns, seagulls, cormorants, and flamingos, while seals, dolphins, whales, and more frolic in the ocean. A favorite activity is a walk to the old rusted jetty located about a half mile from the lodge accompanied by a picnic lunch, a camera, and a book.
