Accommodation at the camp consists of ten en suite luxury canvas tents with room for up to two adults and two children. The word, Kiota means nest in Swahili and guests will feel cozy and content as they nest in their tents after an adventurous day exploring the wilds of the Serengeti. Each tent houses large comfortable king-sized beds in double configuration. The bathrooms are furnished with a wardrobe, flush toilets, and safari style bucket showers. There is also a writing desk for composing post cards for friends and family back home. The colorful furnishings are made by local craftsmen. Guests can relax and take in the beauty of the Seronera on their own private, shaded verandah while enjoying their tea or coffee. Other amenities include electricity provided by eco-friendly solar power, digital safes, and in-room universal adapters.

A sister property of the mobile Chaka Camp, Kiota enjoys the advantages of its prime location in the central Serengeti, an area famous for its healthy populations of large cats, permanent game around the Seronera River, and Rettima Hippo Pool which is not only home to hippos but also crocodiles, lizards, and several bird species. The camp is bounded by wooded hills to the north and the plains to the south. The camp places guests right in the middle of the wildlife.
