There are plenty of exciting activities to choose from at both locations. Morning and afternoon game drives are conducted by expert guides in either the camp’s open-sided vehicles or closed-sided with a pop-up roof. The vehicles are also equipped with fridges for cold drinks and power points. Bush breakfasts, picnic lunches, and dinners are delicious ways to enjoy a game drive in style with a chef-prepared meal. When the camp is in the Lamai Wedge, there are cultural opportunities to visit several local communities and villages. Guests can visit a traditional homestead and be entertained by the local Kuria dancers, or spend the morning at the market, shopping for crafts and handmade souvenirs.

The camp’s style channels traditional safari tents of old when merchants used to cross the Serengeti on camelback from North Africa bringing ivory and spices to trade. The mobile camp is constructed of wood and canvas with a Moroccan accent which blends harmoniously with its beautiful, natural settings. The lounge tent is lined with rich, handwoven rugs and lit by burnished copper lamps. Delicious homemade dinners can be enjoyed either in the dining tent or under the clear blue or star-lit African skies. The camp serves fresh-baked breads, muffins, and biscuits daily as well as a Continental or full English breakfast to start the day. Light buffet-style lunches or picnics precede full three-course silver service dinners at night.
