Wilderness Mara

PLAN MY TRIP

Set in a remote corner of Kenya’s celebrated Mara ecosystem, Wilderness Mara offers a refined, conservation-driven safari experience.

Located in the private Naboisho Conservancy, which borders Kenya’s renowned Maasai Mara National Reserve, this newly opened camp offers access to one of East Africa’s most wildlife-rich ecosystems. The conservancy model ensures low vehicle density and supports both conservation and local communities.

The camp features just eight spacious canvas suites, including a family unit, each with en-suite bathrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, and private verandas overlooking the surrounding plains. The design blends contemporary comfort with classic safari style, using natural materials and a muted color palette to reflect the landscape.

The main area includes a lounge, dining space, bar, and fire pit—ideal for relaxing between activities or sharing stories after dinner. Guests can also enjoy in-room spa treatments and curated bush dining experiences.

Activities at Wilderness Mara include twice-daily game drives led by experienced guides, with opportunities to see lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and seasonal wildebeest migrations. Guided bush walks offer a more intimate look at the ecosystem, while night drives reveal nocturnal species such as aardvarks, porcupines, and servals. Visits to nearby Maasai communities provide insight into local culture and conservation efforts.

Wilderness Mara is also involved in a range of conservation initiatives, including wildlife monitoring and community support programs. Its location in Naboisho Conservancy allows for exceptional wildlife viewing while contributing directly to the protection of the land and its people.

This is a well-rounded, conservation-focused safari experience in one of Kenya’s most iconic landscapes.
