Accommodations at the twenty-two-room lodge harmoniously blend modern décor with a colonial feel. Each air-conditioned room is comfortably furnished and includes a television, complimentary Wi-Fi, and tea/coffee facilities. The en suite bathrooms feature double vanities and a shower. Victoria Falls is a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the border of Zimbabwe and Zambia where the Zambezi River drops more than 328 feet into the Batoka Gorge forming the falls itself. Named after Queen Victoria by Scottish explorer and missionary, David Livingston, the falls are often referred to as “Mosi-oa-Tunya” or the Smoke that Thunders. At 5,604 feet wide, it is the largest curtain of falling water in the world.
