This camp’s focus on family begins with its exclusive and private atmosphere. The camp is comprised of three suites and one family house, limiting the number of guests in camp while also creating spaces suitable for family groups. The smaller suites are still furnished with twin showers and sinks, as well as a full-sized bathtub and a king bed (or two twins in one twin suite). Each tent has a spacious private balcony with a hammock and a plunge pool to relax in and watch as animals come to drink from the Zambezi River. The family house has two spacious bedrooms, a central living area, and two en suite bathrooms. A larger balcony and plunge pool take full advantage of the beautiful river view.
Located in the vast Lower Zambezi National Park, Potato Bush offers visitors access to nearly 1600 square miles of protected wilderness. The Zambezi River sustains a remarkable variety of wildlife, including leopard, lion, hyena, wild dog, elephant, hippo, and zebra. More than 350 bird species call the river and the surrounding bush their home. Expertly trained guides will share all the secrets of the expansive wilderness.
For those looking to explore the landscape by water, the camp offers canoeing, boat cruises, fishing trips, and river lunches. By land, guests can explore on privately guided game drives during the day or at night. Walking safaris are perfect for a more intimate and personal experience. The camp is happy to prepare private bush meals to relax while on a game drive. High tea and fine dining back at camp are the perfect way to prepare for the day ahead or wind down at the end.
The camp guarantees free transfer flights and private guiding with every four-night stay. The spacious living areas and exclusive atmosphere make this camp perfect for families looking for a comfortable home that exposes them to all the beauty and wonder of Zambia.
