Mantadia Lodge

PLAN MY TRIP

Focused on nature and wellness, Mantadia Lodge cultivates a tranquil environment ideal for those looking to get away from it all.

Mantadia Lodge is composed of 23 luxurious rooms and suites, from normal bungalows to Mantadia Suites to two-bedroom family suites, each of which have a private terrace for optimum enjoyment of the scenery. Each room has every modern amenity, including air conditioning, independent Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. There is free use of tea and coffee kettles at the mini-bar, and a private safe is available to protect valuable personal items. A shower with a scenic view contributes to a complete sense of luxury.

Located in the forest of Andasibe, Mantadia Lodge is surrounded by a biodiverse forest ecosystem that is home to a variety of unique Madagascan species. The native lemur Indri Indri is found only in the Andasibe National Park. Encountering these animals, as well as many kinds of birds and other wildlife, through guided nature walks is central to the natural experience at Mantadia.

Though the lodge provides several on-site activities, expert guides are more than happy to take guests off the grounds and into the forests beyond. Guests can enjoy night safaris to view nocturnal animals, local village visits to learn about the cultures, and swimming under Andasibe’s waterfalls. The Herbal Spa offers calming massages, facials, and other treatments, using the natural resources of the area to relax and rejuvenate. Comfortable seating and sunbeds surrounding the infinity pool create another relaxing area, and the yoga pavilion reflects the lodge’s focus on tranquility and wellness.

Open from 6am to 10pm, the restaurant allows visitors to mingle over food in a friendly communal space. If guests are looking for a more intimate experience, dining outside on the terrace or in a smaller lounge is a more private option. Through all dining options and activities, there is a focus on sustainability and environmental protection. Mantadia Lodge looks to cultivate a peaceful and a calming atmosphere, while exposing visitors to the beauty and adventure possible in Madagascar.
