JOIN ROY TOFT ON HIS ANNUAL OKAVANGO DELTA PHOTO SAFARI IN MARCH 2020!
Embark on a ten-night small-group photographic safari through the legendary Okavango Delta with celebrated wildlife photographer Roy Toft. Roy has been making this pilgrimage for over a decade. His itinerary offers the phenomenal opportunities in the photographic mecca of Botswana during the “secret” season of March, when babies abound and the lush green vegetation brings color to every image.
The trip kicks off Johannesburg at Fairlawns Boutique Hotel, and the next morning you’ll head into the Okavango Delta for nine nights in three different camps. These camps are carefully chosen to encompass nearly every ecosystem in the delta, offering myriad wildlife sighting opportunities from 4×4, boat, or even hot air balloon (extra) or helicopter (extra). Begin at Chitabe Camp for three nights in the delta’s southeast region. From there you’ll fly to Tubu Tree Camp on Hunda Island, where you’ll spend two nights. The itinerary culminates with with four nights at luxurious Vumbura Plains Camp, situated in the extreme north of the delta.
