Namibia

Martin Bailey Photo Tour (June 2019)

PLAN MY TRIP

Martin Bailey and Piper & Heath have carefully curated an incredible photographic itinerary in Africa's most photogenic country!

This tour will help you perfect your photographic skills, as Martin guides you in capturing the essence of Namibia. The itinerary is built as a “journey to capture,” and this country of contrasts will challenge your senses–from forests of “upside down” trees to the ghost towns of the Skeleton Coast, from the Salvador Dali landscapes of Sossusvlei to the wildlife-rich plains of Etosha.

You’ll meet the Himba desert nomads and the desert-adapted mega fauna (rhino, elephant, giraffe, lion, and much more) with which they share their land. You’ll be immersed in the immensity of Etosha National Park and the legendary Ongava Private Game Reserve.

With Martin as your guide, you’ll be able to take full advantage of Namibia’s many unique photographic opportunities.

Tip: There are great options for extensions to this itinerary. You could add an expedition to visit the San people of Bushmanland or you could go after the big cats in the Kruger area of South Africa.

Itinerary in brief:

This safari has a maximum of 10 participants with no more than 5 participants per professional photographic tutor. The whole safari is vehicle-based with plenty of space to keep your camera gear by your side for easy access.
