Linyanti Bush Camp is an intimate camp in the traditional style of early explorer camps overlooking the Linyanti marshes and stands side by side with its sister camp, Linyanti Ebony.
The camp’s six tented rooms are built on concrete foundations and have sandy porches. The spacious rooms are neutrally decorated and have sisal-mat flooring and polished wooden furniture. A writing desk, comfortable sofa, and sleigh-style bed with duvets and crisp linen complete the comfort. Each tent comes with an en-suite bathrooms complete with a shower, hot and cold water, and a flush toilet.
Linyanti Bush Camp is situated on the banks of Linyanti Marsh. The area’s relative remoteness and abundant wildlife makes it a favored safari destination and one of the most sought-after regions in northern Botswana. Known for the populations of elephant and buffalo that congregate in vast numbers during the dry season (May to October), the area also attracts a variety of plains game including giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, eland, sable, roan, red lechwe , and the rare and elusive Sitatunga antelope. Hippo and crocodile can be found in the marshes. Major predators in the area include lion, hyena, wild dog, cheetah, and leopard. Birdwatching in this region is particularly excellent.
