For families and groups, the specially built Loldia cottage sits on a hill offers three double rooms and comes with its own sitting room with open log fire and panoramic views across the lake. Each room’s en suite bathroom features a bath, shower, basin, flush toilet, hot and cold running water.
Loldia House is only a two-hour drive from Nairobi. It is located on a private farm of some 6,500 acres on the north-western part of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha is the highest and purest lake in Kenya. The house is ideally situated to visit the flamingo lakes of Nakuru, Elementaita and Bogoria. In fact, over 400 species of birds have been seen in the Rift Valley. Within the Great Rift Valley itself, there are beautiful views of the dormant volcano, Mount Longonot.
